Want to become a member?
Each year we organise a series of events, visits and seminars that reflect the latest thinking and issues that impact the agri-food sector.
Some of these are member-only events. As well as providing unique opportunities for members to expand their professional knowledge base, each event provides valuable networking opportunities with colleagues right across the agri-food industry in Northern Ireland.
Full membership
Open to those holding a Degree or Foundation Degree/Higher National Diploma (or equivalent) in Agricultural or associated disciplines.
OR
A degree or Foundation Degree/Higher National Diploma (or equivalent) in other disciplines when such persons are or have been employed in the agri-food industry.
£30/year
Student Membership
Open to Undergraduate or Postgraduate students in agricultural or associated disciplines in any year of study.
Student membership does not afford full member rights and privileges
Free of charge
Associate membership
Open to those who are/have been employed in the agri-food industry who do not hold an approved qualification (as previous membership types) but who the Executive Committee deam appropriate to be able to bring benefit to the institute in the delivery of its purpose.
Associate membership does not afford full member rights and privileges.
